Flexible Digital Publishing
I help clients manage and publish their information. We identify the audience together so we know who we are broadcasting to. We take an inventory of the content; pictures, text, audio, video and animation. We understand the destination platform; web site, DVD, mobile phone, TV or printed book (often multiple platforms). A successful project finishes on-budget and on-time, but must also deliver the intended message to a receptive viewer thru the most logical medium.
Large-Scale Digital Projects
I own a digital design and development agency in downtown Seattle caled Lux Worldwide. When a full team is needed, I can mobilize project managers, information architects, visual designers, creative writers, video specialists and software developers. Lux Worldwide offers practical integration of creative and technology services.
Lux offers the following; Internet and wireless development, graphic design for both print and online destinations, content management solutions and web publishing, online marketing and search engine optimization and technical communication.
Consulting Projects
I often produce client projects as a one-man team. Many of my clients are employees of companies that have existing digital publishing teams, so I help improve processes and procedures. I can consult and provide services related to the following: production of web design projects, content development and management, multimedia publishing, multiplatform distribution, modern editorial procedures, management of technical projects on online entertainment.
Content Production Projects
I spent the first years of my career as a visual designer creating book and magazine layouts, multimedia presentations and creative online stories. Today I offer three main creative services, illustration, digital photography and creative writing.
Presentations and Public Speaking
I speak at conferences and in board rooms and anywhere else people need the information that I offer. Most of my presentations are custom, tailored to the specific audience I am addressing. Common themes include digital publishing, the dot com economy, online storytelling and content production management. Usually I present using a visual and audio slideshow that accents the presentation without overwhelming it.
